Check out my little buddy James
My little buddy James has a new blog please be kind and pop over to see James's new blog. Coney Island
On Saturday we went on a trip. I got to go on the subway. Its a bit hard as the station by my house is not wheelchair friendly so Mammy and Daddy had to use their muscles to get me down the steps in my chair.
Yup there is my family with me on the subway. You will get to see a picture of Mammy later as she is usually taking all the pictures.We get to Coney Island and the station there is great very wheelchair friendly. The fist stop for our day is the New York Aquarium.
Mammy took loads of pictures of the fish, turtles and jelly fish. There was a section on the wall that I had fun touching

We walked along the boardwalk and out on to the pier and of course Mammy took more pictures
Did you see Mammy in the last picture with me, Eoghan and Maurs? To end out the day we walked around the rides at Coney Island. Daddy and Maurs went on the wonder wheel and then Eoghan and Daddy went on the Cyclone rollercoaster. Me and Mammy were chicken and didn't go on any rides.We had a great day out and we were wearing our "Proud" tee shirts from 3ELove.com a lot of people like them. The latest gossip
Well me and Mammy did a 5k walk. She said I nearly killed her going up one hill. Well I am putting the weight back on that I lost when I had the bloody kidney stones. So she said the next walk she will just squish me in the baby jogger cause it wasn't fun pushing over 80lbs up that 1 hill.
After the walk we came home and the parade was starting so we went to see that. The weather was really nice and sunny. So I was getting asked to join in the parade but Mammy didn't want to walk anymore so we just stayed on the side of the road and watched it. Mind you Mammy did put sun screen on me in the morning but she didn't put any more on me and when we came home and I took off my sunglasses I looked like a raccoon. Yup red face and white around my eyes. Of course the legs got pink and so did the my arms. Its all gone off of me now the red and honestly I look like I have been crawling around in the dirt. I have my dirty knee tan going again this year. Its funny the backs of my legs are WHITE. Will have to go to the beach and work on my tan.
We were out today and the sun was very bright so we went to get a sun hat for me. Yes I did have sunscreen on. So we ended up in the baby section of the shop to get me a sun hat. Its sad I can still wear a 6-12 month size in a hat. So I got a floppy fisherman hat and a cool orange baseball cap. Mammy has to fix the baseball cap as the smallest size it was in was 18mths so its a bit big but she can fix the back of it so it will fit me just right.
Tomorrow we are going to Michael and Siobhan's for a BBQ. Must get Mammy to get my tent out or at least bring a beach brolly so I can sit outside in the shade. Hopefully she will also remember to bring my blow up bed so I can really relax and enjoy myself.
Will have to get a picture of all my stuff I need to bring for my day out in the country. You know when we are at home we don't think about all of it cause its all around me but we have to bring the needy stuff the just in case stuff and the emergency stuff and that is a lot of stuff. You know whats the worst of it our lift is out in our house so they have to bring it all down the stairs me included. So that will be fun. Haha I don't care someone has to carry me down too.
Will get some pictures hopefully if Mammy remembers to bring her camera if not Nanny will have her's with her.

We haven't updated here in a week or two so blame Mammy. I was in the hospital for a few days getting my brain waves checked out. It told us why my dystonia has been kicking in and also why my vision is going on the blink again. Yup I am having zaps from those to places in my brain. It sucks as I was just getting used to being able to see again and now oh well we just won't talk about that.
My little buddy Graham was in the hospital and Mammy popped up to see him. I got to go home on Wednesday but Graham got sent back to the PICU. So sad Graham passed away in his Mammy's arms on Saturday May 12th. He was just 13 months old. Prayers and hugs for Graham's Mammy, Daddy and big brother C.
Still waiting to hear about my wheelchair. Oh yeah I am in a contest to see if I can win a special needs trike. Wouldn't that be cool to have a trike it would make me more like other kids my age. People forget that I am 7 years old, yup I am not a baby but a big boy.
